What do Dongwoon’s nicknames mean?

Sonseuko: Dongwoon is a big fan of Sisqo, so they combined their names together as a nickname. (Son (손) + Sisqo (시스코) = Sonseuko 손스코)

16D: He has a 16D personality, which means he’s really bizarre/weird, and is beyond having a 4D personality.

Dongdong: It’s just a cute nickname repeating the first character of his name.

Old Man Son: I think this dad calls him this lol. Kind of because he acts like an old man (can’t do sports, bad at exercise) and looks mature for his age.

Son Arab: Adding to the fact he looks mature, he looks different compared to the “typical” Korean. They said that he looks middle-Eastern/Arabic.

Since these answers (this & this) are a bit outdated, the member he seems to be currently closest to is Yoseob. In Idol Maid, you can see how Yoseob/Dongwoon/Hyunseung have a weird bond because they’re all strange, sort of obnoxious, and 4D. But in the B2uty Inauguration, it’s obvious that Dongwoon and Hyunseung are awkward together (sort of because Seung’s 4Dness is on an entirely different level?) So Dongwoon has been closest to Yoseob for the past year or so. They sort of have a bond competing for the maknae position I guess lol. They’re midnight snack buddies, laugh at their own dumb jokes, etc etc. Dongwoon also admires Yoseob because of his position as main vocal so he follows him around a lot and just goes with what he does. All in all, I would just recommend watching all of Beast’s shows. (MTV B2ST Documentary, B2ST Almighty, and Idol Maid) since most of the clips are from there.
